On June 17, 2021, the 20th China (Shanghai) International Power Equipment and Generating Set Exhibition, which has attracted the attention of professional visitors, grandly opened. The Cummins booth in Hall E7 showcased the cutting-edge technology and cutting-edge products in the field of power equipment to the audience with an unprecedented lineup of new products. Two companies under Cummins Power Business-Chongqing Cummins Engine Co., Ltd. and Cummins Generator Technology (China) Co., Ltd. jointly exhibited 8 products, including electronically controlled engines, gas engines and 4 series of generators. Five of them are new products that debuted for the first time.
QSK electric control engine
QSK’s new electric control engine includes 19L and 38L products. The power density is the current leader in engines with the same displacement. It can achieve higher generator set power, a 9% reduction in fuel consumption, and a longer oil change interval of 500 hours. 5000 hours of verification test, with higher reliability, -12℃ low temperature environment, without auxiliary starting device, can start smoothly, sudden increase and decrease performance, high part versatility, and the versatility of existing platforms is as high as 90%. And the localization is basically realized, and the delivery is fast and reliable. The platform will continue to expand in the future.
QSK19N gas engine
Using Cummins’ unique ultra-lean combustion technology and control technology, the QSN19 gas engine has undergone rigorous intake and exhaust explosion tests, with stable performance, high efficiency and reliability. When the methane value of the pipeline gas is as low as 75 MN and the calorific value of the biogas is as low as 500 BTU, the full output can still be obtained. The shortest maintenance interval is 1000 hours, and the oil consumption is as low as 0.2g/kWh, effectively reducing operation and maintenance costs. It can be widely used in oil and gas fields, breeding farms, garbage treatment plants and other places as the main power source.
N series engine
As the latest addition to the existing Stamford product series, the N series generator adopts the brushless design of three-phase, four-stage synchronous alternator to meet the diversified needs of the market, with a power of 300kVa, sharing global service support. The N series generators are equipped with digital AVR as standard, which maximizes the power density and saves space for standby and continuous operation. At the same time, it has a number of advanced technologies such as stator heat dissipation technology, unique structural design, and advanced H Class insulation system, modular design. Application areas cover common and standby applications such as critical protection, building construction and medical care.
S7 series engine
The S7 series 6.3kV high-voltage version continues the S series’ advanced CoreCooling technology, providing H-class insulation technology and a 3-year long warranty. Its launch means that Stanford products will meet the output power required by the market with a power point that is more suitable for the market. The low-voltage version of S7K is specially designed for the design of electric drilling windings. It meets the requirements of the mainstream market with multiple main power points. It exhibits strong environmental protection and excellent electrical performance in harsh environments such as high temperature, dust, and salt spray. Emerging capabilities escort energy supply in the oil and gas field.
